Editorial Food Styling and Photography
This collection of food styling and photography work is from across Perth and beyond. It brings together editorial shoots, from quince and persimmon at their seasonal best to layered cakes, salads, soups and breakfast bowls styled for both stillness and movement.
As a Cordon Bleu trained food stylist with over 25 years' experience, I work alongside photographers on every shoot, focusing on the part that's often invisible in a finished image: the prep, the plating decisions, the small adjustments between frames that make a dish look like itself at its best.
This collection spans various editorial features and gives a broad sense of the range a food stylist brings to a brief, whatever the format.
Editorial food styling exists to tell a story, whether for a magazine, cookbook, newspaper feature or blog, the goal is mood and narrative is to evoke a feeling.
If something here matches the look you're after, get in touch and I'll talk you through how it was styled and shot.

Yes — if something here catches your eye, mention it when you get in touch and I'll talk you through how it was styled, and how a similar approach could work for your brand or project.
-
I'm a food stylist, not a photographer - on these shoots I work alongside a photographer, focusing on preparing, plating and directing the food for camera. If you need a photographer too, I can recommend one.
