Roast quince with dried peaches

Roast quinces

Serves 4

Ingredients

6 quinces, halved

6 dried peach halves

5 bay leaves

2 cups water

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 160C. Place the halved quinces, peaches, bay leaves and water into a roasting dish.

  2. Roast for 40 minutes, then add another cup of water, roast for an additional 45 minutes or until the quinces are soft.

  3. To serve: serve the quinces warm with double cream yoghurt.
